⛳ New Golf Cart Directional Signs Installed! ⛳

You may have noticed some new golf cart directional signs appearing around the course recently. These signs have been installed to help guide cart traffic and protect some of the most sensitive turf areas on the golf course.

Golf carts are a great way to enjoy your round—but how they’re used has a significant impact on course conditions and the experience for everyone.

Improper cart use can lead to unnecessary wear and tear, especially around approaches, green surrounds, wet areas, newly seeded sections, and freshly laid sod. Over time, repeated traffic can cause turf thinning, soil compaction, and inconsistent playing conditions.

Here are a few simple ways you can help protect the course:

✔️ Keep carts on paths around tees and greens — these are among the most sensitive areas on the course.

✔️ Avoid wet or soft areas, even if they aren’t roped off — these spots are especially vulnerable to damage.

✔️ Never drive between greenside bunkers and the green — this area receives the most concentrated traffic and is difficult to maintain.

✔️ When parking near greens, tee boxes, or other designated cart path areas, ensure all four tires are completely on the cart path. Parking with two tires on the path and two on the grass may seem minor, but repeated traffic along path edges quickly creates worn turf and compaction issues.

One common misconception is that a single cart doesn’t make much difference. In reality, repeated traffic in the same locations adds up quickly and can create long-term damage that takes considerable time and resources to repair.

By being mindful of where and how carts are used, you’re helping us maintain healthier turf, better playing conditions, and a more enjoyable experience for all golfers.

Thank you for doing your part to keep the course in great condition all season long! 🌱⛳

It’s a simple part of the game—but one that makes a big difference.
